26th Dynasty, early, early Ptolemaic period, 664-200 BC
Horus standing on an inscribed rectangular base with wings crossed over the tail feathers, wearing a wide collar and the crown of Upper and Lower Egypt with uraeus and fragmentary spiral, marks and other details carefully engraved, eyes inlaid with gold or electrum.
The inscription on the four sides of the base reads as follows: “Haroëris (Horus the Great), ruler of Qous (?) gives life, prosperity and health, a long life, a happy old age to the chief (?) of the weavers of the domain of Isis of Coptos (named) Nâs-en-ef son of Nesmin, and whose mother is the mistress of the Nyny house.”
